Restaurant Pierre*

You'll be carried off by Christian Gaulin's culinary inspiration and wines to match. The chef from Mâcon with a Michelin star prepares creative and traditional dishes: Bresse chicken, Charolais tournedos steak, baked turbot with citrus zest or his amazing soufflé.

Enjoy food and wine pairing at its best thanks to the restaurant Pierre's beautiful selection of wines from Mâcon and the other great vineyards of France.

Close to the impressive Rocks of Solutré and Vergisson, the L'Ô des Vignes gourmet restaurant run by Sébastien Chambru is an absolute must in the Mâconnais region.

This Michelin-starred restaurant, which also owns a bistro-style wine bar, serves deliciously sophisticated cuisine. The wine list is pretty impressive too.

Still feeling peckish?

La Maison mâconnaise des vins
A restaurant with a friendly atmosphere

A bucolic lunch on the banks of the Saône

Take a seat at one of the shared tables of this charmingly unique restaurant. La Maison Mâconnaise des Vins has succeeded in preserving the particularly pleasant atmosphere that has reigned here since its creation in 1958. Which means it has become a real institution.

This is the ideal place to discover Mâconnais wines and the banks of the Saône. A boutique has been added to showcase the wines of Saône-et-Loire.

Sample the treasures of the Mâconnais region

👍 Domaine Joseph Lafarge: Visit an authentic Haut-Mâconnais wine estate. Head for the village of Lugny for a guided tour, an analysis of the landscape and, of course, a tasting of several wines.

👍 Château de la Greffière is a wine estate set in the superb Roche Vineuse vineyard. Organise a tasting session and visit the cellars as well as the Musée de la Vigne et du Vin to learn how the winegrowing profession has evolved over time.

👍 Maison Auvigue occupies the old church of the beautiful village of Fuissé, not far from the Rock of Solutré. A great opportunity to discover the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation and its wines, among the most famous of Burgundy.

👍 Maison Jacoulot. Visit Romanèche-Thorins to taste the creations of Vincent Jacoulot. There's no wine here, but a whole range of spirits, liqueurs, ratafia, marc de Bourgogne and other alcoholic beverages. A fabulous experience.

👍 Hameau Dubœuf was created by a key player in the regions of Mâconnais and Beaujolais. This œnopark is an invitation to learn about winegrowing expertise through exhibitions and immersive audiovisual shows.
