Educational trail
Come and discover the habitats, orchard, fallow land and wildlife on the site.
Follow the 800-metre trail and discover the nature that surrounds us! Along the way, young and old alike will be able to discover the wildlife and its habitats thanks to the various facilities on site: hedges, riverbanks, flower beds, beehives and even an insect house. The entire trail is equipped with information panels. It's a fun, educational way for everyone to discover biodiversity.
The Federation's experts offer guided tours every 2nd and 4th Tuesday from June to September at 2.30pm, or by prior arrangement for groups.
Created at the initiative of the Fédération Départementale des Chasseurs de Saône-et-Loire, this trail offers an immersion into the richness of our natural heritage. Our aim is to share our knowledge of biodiversity, wildlife and our daily commitment to preserving their habitats.
Suitable for all ages, from children to senior citizens, the trail is ideally located in the unspoilt surroundings of the Moulin Gandin (the Federation's premises) in Viré.
A large car park and picnic area are available on site, as well as a fully-equipped room that can be hired to combine a visit to the trail with an activity or event.
