Musée de la Tuilerie aux Granges sous Grignon
Situated alongside the Burgundy canal, this former tilery has its INDUSTRIAL HERITAGE: two chimneys (one 30 m high), wagon railway, clay seam nearby, kilns, period machinery and tools, collection of stamped tiles and bricks. Guided tours include a demonstration of how to make flat tiles and terracotta floor tiles the old-fashioned way. Self-guided tours also available. New: the 'SIMON-HOFFMANN' kiln (2 galleries, 20m).
