Musée de la Céramique
Housed in an old building dating from 1742, close to the canal bridge over the Loire, the Musée de la Céramique de Digoin houses some 8,000 items in 14 rooms. The guided tour brings to life a history that goes beyond the region. The panorama is as vast as it is varied: from a Gallo-Roman kiln from the 2nd century, to the memory of Digoin's production since 1770, via manufacturing and decoration techniques, this visit is also a real bath in family ceramics. Alongside rare pieces, visitors will find the crockery that has marked their lives, and those of their parents and grandparents.
