Musée d'Art et d'Industrie Paul Charnoz
This museum of art and industry bears the name of the founder of the factory in 1877. It is the memory of an industrial ceramic activity that has now disappeared. It retraces the different stages in the life of this factory through its technologies and productions, in particular two prestigious works, flagships of industrial and decorative ceramics from the end of the 19th century, which won awards at the Paris World Fairs in 1889 and 1900. To be discovered: unique pieces, the networks or cloisonné models, real brass laces essential to make the decorated tile by inlaying in the thickness, a hydraulic press (end of 19th century).
