Les Vergers-potagers de Montigny
The 19th-century orchards and vegetable gardens of the Château de Montigny-sur-Aube (MH) are an essential part of the National Forest Park. Listed as one of France's Remarkable Gardens, you'll discover several hundred varieties of espalier fruit trees, as well as vegetable and aromatic varieties, which you can taste on site at the château's farm inn - A LA TABLE DES JARDINIERS - or take away (honey, nougats, gingerbread... and other products from our farm drive). An exceptional setting for an unforgettable experience, with the "Bienvenue à la ferme" and "Vignobles et Découvertes" labels. This mecca for the art of espalier has been registered as part of France's intangible cultural heritage by the Ministry of Culture since 2023.
Our farmhouse inn "A LA TABLE DES JARDINIERS", reserved for our visitors, is open from 12 noon, Wednesday to Sunday inclusive. Our chef offers visitors his "Coffret Fraîcheur" a real meal, made from our organic fruit and vegetable harvests, his "dessert of the day" and his sorbets, on the terrace or in the orangery.
