Come and meet one of the most flamboyant courtiers of the great Louis XIV, Count Roger de Bussy-Rabutin, and his home, decorated like a life-size comic strip!
A colourful Burgundian, a military man, a gallant gentleman and a quick-witted academician, one of his pamphlets led to his downfall! He found himself condemned to exile. While awaiting an unlikely return to grace, he set about creating an interior décor that evoked his nostalgia for the Court and reflected his feelings. Come and share in the life of a 17th-century nobleman, before ending your visit with
the restored flats of the Counts of Sarcus, where you can discover a little-known part of the monument's history and enter into the intimacy of an aristocratic family in the 19th century.

Guided tours are available during the school holidays (All Saints' Day, Christmas, Winter) and from 1 April to 31 May at 10.15am and 2.30pm.
From 1 June to 30 September, guided tours are available at 10.30am, 2.30pm and 3.30pm.
